Canadian International Training & Education Corp.

CANADIAN INTERNATIONAL TRAINING & EDUCATION CORP. (CITREC) is a leader in providing Canadian standard education and training beyond Canadian borders in collaboration with our partner institutions. In a recent announcement this year (2013), Citizenship & Immigration Canada recognised CITREC for its work international. CITREC received  an  Honourable  Mention  for  its   international  effort  in  providing  skilled  assessment  services  under  the  IMMSKILLS  brand  to  new  and  prospective   Canadian  immigrants  to  Canada..

CITREC specializes in bringing Canadian institutions and certification programs to the world and making Canadian education more accessible globally.  CITREC introduces and promotes knowledge solutions aimed at preparing youth to become leaders and succeed in the global workforce. CITREC is committed to quality, not quantity.

CITREC partners include the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST) which is Saskatchewan’s primary public institution for skills training and technical education, recognized nationally and internationally.  CITREC endeavors to provide the best education options and life-enriching experiences to students worldwide. The programs offered by CITREC are recognized in Canada and the qualifications are the same as those obtained by Canadian students.

CITREC had also partnered with the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada . In March 2014 CITREC was informed that due to CGA Canada-International working towards unification with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) and Certified Management Accountants (CMA) of Canada under the CPA designation the partnership with CITREC has been put on hold.

Our partnership with the Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council (CTHRC) and the Saskatchewan Tourism Human Resource Council brings Canadian tourism certification to foreign countries in a classroom setting. STEC as CITREC’s partner leads the certification process working with foreign institutes and the professional tourism industry.

Many countries and thousands of regional and municipal organizations have implemented development programs aimed at courting foreign businesses, creating local jobs, and increasing foreign direct investment. It is essential to establish a unique strategy in this competitive space. Most programs address basic elements, such as economic foundation issues and offer major incentives to foreign firms including tax breaks, cash incentives and other benefits.

CITREC, with its educational and certification partners, is committed to providing education, training and certification to foreign students.

The certificates and Diploma received for any programs we offer internationally will be equivalent to that offered in Canada. At the conclusion of two-year diploma program students will have the option to completing their degree program through partner universities in Canada.  We are also developing training programs that will be introduced to foreign countries and partner institutes based on Canada’s skill demand.
