In August 2009 SIAST began offering its two year Business Administration Diploma program in Phoenix, Mauritius, an island nation off the southeast coast of continental Africa and south of India surrounded by the Indian Ocean.
SIAST partners with the Mauritius Institute of Training and Development ( Previously know as IVTB) and Canadian International Training & Education Corporation (CITREC) in Canada to deliver the Business Administration program at the Knowledge-Based Learning Centre. The SIAST/MITD/CITREC is the first North American educational partnership in Mauritius.
There are currently 47 students in the first cohort studying the Business Administration program. The first cohort will graduate in May 2011.
